What Do We Do?

PASWA is an informal local organization affiliated with a formal national organization.

We get together on occasion to meet, to eat, and to listen to a speaker. You spend enough time at your desk, why not come out with us once in a while?

We use our mailing list to keep the group up to date on activities and to connect with each other.

If you are a science communications professional in the Philadelphia area, we'd like you to join the gang. Our membership includes scientists, journalists, freelancers and public information officers.

Broke the website

Hello, on a whim, I decided to upgrade to the new WordPress software. Turns out that was a bad idea. I had to trash the site and start over again.

I’ll add the old stuff back on over the next day or so. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Mostly restored. Unfortunately, we’re missing more links than Lucy (Australopithecus joke, ha!).

I figured if New York can have SWINY, “swiney,” and DC can have DCSWA, “duck-swa,” then why can’t we be PASWAns?
