The Order of Things at the Wagner, 2/24-25

Posted on | February 21, 2007 | Comments Off

The most truly hidden of Philadelphia’s hidden science gems is the Wagner Free Institute of Science on 1700 West Montgomery Avenue, not too far from Temple’s main campus.

In celebration of Carolus Linnaeus (and who doesn’t want to celebrate Linnaeus?), the Wagner is hosting The Order of Things, “an ethereal sound-scape exploring our relentless quest for order.”
It’s a 21st century salute to 18th century science in a 19th century museum in the tradition of a 20th century stoner staple.

(Remember when the Franklin Institute hosted Laser Floyd shows? Good times, man. Good times.)

DJ/Performance Artist Scanner provides the noise.
