Natural History Road Show at the Wagner 11/10

Posted on | October 30, 2007 | Comments Off

Okay, this is a nifty idea. Want to know the origins of that funny-looking rock from your garden? And what, exactly, was that big grasshopper-looking thing you pulled out of the Honda’s grill last weekend?

Well, bring your antiques artifacts or dead things to the Wagner Free Museum for the Natural History Road Show. It won’t be televised and your junk is probably worth less than that old rug your grandmother insists was weaved from Increase Mather’s old wigs…but it would still be fun to know.

The Wagner Free Institute of Science’s Natural History Road Show:

Schedule for the Day
12 – 4 PM Institute is open to the public. Explore the museum collections in the exhibition hall.
12 – 4 PM Hands-on activities for children ages 6-12.
1 PM Presentation by Wagner Free Institute’s Children’s Education staff and panel of experts.
2 – 4 PM Experts available to answer questions regarding your natural history treasures in the exhibition hall.

How to get there.
