There are some nifty events coming up at the Schuylkill Center that you should know about.
First, Thursday, March 27, as part of their Citizen Science Program the center is hosting Green Roofs, a talk by Jeff Jabco of the Scott Arboretum at Swarthmore College. The program is free and begins at 6:30 pm.
There isn’t much description on their otherwise lovely website (hint! Sarah!), but judging by the following picture, it appears to deal with strategies for greening otherwise unused and heat-sink-y rooftops.

Second, on Saturday, April 12th it is FrogWatch USA, Record the Ribbit 2008. The program is also free and runs from 2 to 4 pm.
The National Wildlife Federation, in partnership with the US Geological Survey and volunteers across the country, has created a long-term frog and toad monitoring program – FrogWatch!
Join The Schuylkill Center (and hundreds of other Frogwatchers across the nation!) in creating a snapshot of the environmental health status of amphibians.
The Schuylkill Center is on 8480 Hagy’s Mill Road, not too far from the Andorra Shopping Center, if you know where that is. Directions here, if you don’t.
