The Franklin presents Science at the Pub, tonight at McGillan’s 8-11 pm!
[ August 28, 2008; 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. ] I’m just basing this on the Twitter account of TheFranklin (aka The Franklin Institute), but they’ll be hosting Science at the Pub at McGillan’s Olde Ale House, 1310 Drury St. in Center City. A fine time at a fine establishment, I’m sure.

First up is Robert Langer from MIT on September 25th. Doors open at 5, lecture at 6 and the reception is at 7, so at least you might get some wine and cheese for [...]

Using large-scale models of the molecules, contemporary artworks by nationally recognized artists, and a range of historical objects and documents, [...]
Summer Hiatus Coming to a Close Soon
You might have noticed that there haven’t been many updates around here. There are two major reasons behind the summer slow-down.
First, its the summer and I’m at the computer less.
Second, its the summer and less fun science-related stuff has been scheduled. Outside of the local museums, at least.
So, expect more soon. Meanwhile, for more Whatty [...]
